Popular series Brews & the Big Sky will return for its third session Tuesday, January 26th in the main lobby of the Museum of the Rockies between 5:30 and 7:30pm. “Amber Waves of Grain (and Beer)” with Wheat Montana will feature brew selections from Draught Works Brewery. There is an $8 admission which includes a free glass and beer tasting for those 21 and older. Based on the popular Hops & History program, this new winter series pairs the unique growth of industry in the Big Sky with a unique local brew. This month, join Michael Fox, MOR Curator of History, and Wheat Montana as we look the history of the Montana grain industry. You’ll meet our current crop of farmers and producers who ensure Montana wheat remains our top agricultural crop. Space is limited on a first come, first serve basis. Brews & the Big Sky supports the MOR History Program. Also at the Museum: It’s never too early to sign up for MOR Summer Camps! These special camps offer engaging activities and lots of fun so they always fill up fast. This year, the Museum will also offer new Summer Camps in engineering, science and more. Registration is now open so hurry up and sign up to make sure your kids are happy campers this summer!
