With fantastic live entertainment in the Saloon every Friday and Saturday night, you can kick up your heels and soak them too. Here’s a look at who’s headed to the Paradise Valley watering hole.
Mandy Rowden follows with a Sunday show on July 7th beginning at 7pm. She’s an Austin-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who’s been compared to Lucinda Williams, Kim Richey, and Stevie Nicks, to name a few. Her latest album, When That Day Comes, is a collection of warm, engaging songs about life and loss. Its easy pace and vulnerable lyrics roll out a welcome mat of raw, emotional accessibility revealing a world textured by hurt and hope alike.

Visiting from Memphis, the Ghost Town Blues Band takes the stage Sunday, July 14th at 8pm. Not your grandpa’s blues band, their live show captivates audiences with their “second-line horn entrance,” cigar box guitars and electric push brooms to Allman Brothers-style jams and even a hip-hop trombone player. Their stage show and energy is unparalleled, featuring horns, harmonies and homegrown instruments combined with an energetic and roots-rich set that makes for an incredible experience. Ghost Town’s new album, Shine, releases this fall.
