AMEN clinic is coming to Bozeman to offer free medical, dental and vision services to everyone in our area. This two day even will be happening in October and we are looking for 300-400 volunteers for the event.
This clinic is being brought to Bozeman by a man named Fred Cornforth who used to live in the area growing up. Usually these clinics are done only in big cities but because of his love for this area he is bringing it to Bozeman. The smallest city they have done is Boise, ID and that is because he is based there. To give you an idea of how big this clinic is their last clinic was in Baton Rouge and they did 1 million dollars of free services on just the dental side. The hospital does their free medical clinics twice a year and they will be joining us during this time instead of holding their own clinic since this is a much bigger event then they normally do. For the dental side of things the clinic will bring in 30 dentist chairs and all of the equipment to do cleanings, fillings and extractions. The vision side of things includes a free exam, a prescription and then they pick out glass frames that are then sent to a Texas lab and sent back to person for free.
