Indulge in some Summer Strings with MCMS
Montana Chamber Music Society (MCMS) continues its season of great chamber music in Big Sky country with a pair of performances by the Muir String Quartet. The 2017 Summer Music Festival is first up on Thursday, July 13th at MSU’s Reynolds Recital Hall beginning at 7:30pm. Michele Levin (piano), Ilse-Mari Lee (cello), and Sara Stalnaker (cello) will perform works by Dvorak, Martinu, and Faure. Single ticket prices are $27 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $10 for students.
The following evening, Friday, July 14th, members of the Muir Quartet will perform alongside acclaimed musicians during a “Strings Under the Big Sky” special dinner concert at the 320 Ranch beginning at 5pm. The evening begins with hors d’oeuvres and cash bar, followed by the performance and dinner. Seats are $75 per person and reservations are required.
