During the festival, come see award winning films of Jewish interest from around the world at MSU’s Procrastinator Theatre, located on the ground floor of the Strand building on campus. Six films will be shown over the summer beginning at 7pm on various Wednesday evenings. The fun has only just begun!

Jewish Film Festival presents engaging films 6-8-16
Remaining dates include: June 1st, June 8th, July 6th, July 27th, and August 3rd. The second offering, scheduled for June 1st, is The Green Prince, called by the NY Times “…a gripping documentary thriller” that explores the deepening relationship between a young Palestinian man who had been caught and turned into a spy by Israel’s Shin Bet (Israel’s internal security agency). The fact The Green Prince, the code name for the Palestinian, was the son of one of the founders of Hamas adds to the drama as the relationship between the young man and his Israeli handler develops. On June 8th, Labyrinth of Lies is scheduled. When a journalist in 1958 Germany recognizes a teacher in a school playground as a former Auschwitz guard, nobody seems to care. The movie is really an exploration of a general desire to return to normalcy and the intensity of a few to ensure justice is served. The Washington Post said “Labyrinth of Lies is an eye-opening story about the importance of seeking the truth–even when it’s complicated, ugly, and buried beneath years of secrecy and deceit.” Congregation Beth Shalom, with the professional assistance of Jill Joyce at Movie Lovers in Bozeman, is pleased to present this summer series of wonderful movies to the community with no admission charged. See you at the movies! •
