A new episode of “11th and Grant” featuring Dos Mayos will air on Montana PBS at 7pm, Thursday, May 16th.
Dos Mayos performs unique arrangements of Latin, jazz, blues and Americana music spanning decades. Their distinctive style with tight instrumental and vocal blends makes Dos Mayos stand out among professional musicians and entertainers throughout Montana, according to Eric Funk, host of “11th and Grant.” Dos Mayos is based in Belgrade and includes Tana Mayo, a vocalist, flutist and percussionist, and Rich Mayo, who is a guitarist, vocalist and harmonica player.
“11th and Grant” is an Emmy-winning series that invites respected Montana musicians into viewers’ homes. It fuses in-depth interviews with performances in the KUSM-TV studio, located at the corner of South 11th Avenue and Grant Street on the MSU campus in Bozeman. Eric Funk, a composer and retired MSU music professor, serves as the series’ host and artistic director.
