4th Annual Bozeman Monologues provides community perspective on unspoken issues For the fourth year in a row, the Bozeman Monologues will bring diverse community perspectives on sex, sexuality, gender, identity and violence to the stage. The Bozeman Monologues will be hosted by Montana State University’s Students Against Sexual Assault (SASA), and is comprised of pieces written and performed by Bozeman residents.
Topics range from innocent mishaps in the bedroom, to empowering stories of coming out, to personal experiences with violence. The bravery displayed by performers to talk about their most painful or most embarrassing experiences is meant to encourage audience members to do the same in their own lives, creating a more supportive community willing to talk about difficult topics. All proceeds from the performance will benefit SASA’s Survivor Fund, which directly assists survivors of sexual assault and relationship violence right here in Bozeman.
