Stage entertainment comes to Big Sky’s Warren Miller Performing Arts Center this month when The Acting Company brings their national tour of The Three Musketeers to the mountainside venue. The one-night-only presentation is set for Sunday, March 5th at 7:30pm. Run time is 100 minutes with an intermission. Tickets range $20–$55.
An inspiring tale filled with laughter and adventure, the critically renowned Acting Company’s rendition of the audience favorite sheds new light on this swashbuckling adventure and gives a favorite story new importance. This world premiere adaptation will draw inspiration from an astonishing secret – that Dumas’ father, General Alex Dumas, was the highest-ranking person of color in a Western military until our own time. An inspiring tale filled with laughter and adventure, The Three Musketeers is a reminder to all that courage, honesty and valor can change the world.
Founded in 1972 by John Houseman and Margot Harley with members of the first graduating class of Juilliard’s Drama Division, The Acting Company has performed 148 productions for over four million people in 48 states and 10 foreign countries, in small towns and large cities alike. The Company has given more than 400 actors in two generations the opportunity to master their craft by playing challenging repertory roles early in their careers.
