Wheatgrass Books will host three musicians, one poet and one artist for “The ROUND, In Livingston” on Tuesday , December 28th. THE ROUND is a multi-arts collaborative event with performers sharing live music, poetry and visuals in a cozy setting.
Three musicians and one poet will perform in rounds while an artist creates a work of art at an easel. With an all-female “cast,” the musicians are Natalia Boise, Blake Brightman, and Hannah Jo Lolly. The poet is, Kate Morris, and the artist, Kay Potter.
Tickets for the event are $20. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase ($5.each or five tickets for $20.) The prize for the raffle drawing is the final work of art created by Kay Potter over the course of the evening. Raffle ticket sales go directly to the performers. All sales of event tickets and raffles tickets will go directly to four performers and the artist.
“The Round In Livingston” is based on its namesake, “The Round” which is a monthly event held at the Fremont Abbey in Seattle, WA. Founded by Nathan Marion in 2005, The Round has occurred for 187 consecutive months (as of December 2020) and is largely volunteer-powered. Marion guides others in hosting “The Round” outside of Seattle.
