Wedding season is upon us – learn to DANCE!

Put more fun in your life and learn to dance! It’s a great way to meet new people, gain self-confidence, learn a social skill, get exercise and also ready for spring and summer weddings. Lauren Coleman’s Have Fun Dancing has announced its new course schedule for classes beginning the week of April 15th. Of the courses offered, there are options for rote beginners including Basic Ballroom, Basic Waltz and Basic Night Club, as well as those for more experienced dancers. Classes meet on different days of the week, depending on flavor of dance. No experience or partner necessary!
Basic Ballroom serves as an introduction to partner dancing with a focus on the fundamentals of the Foxtrot and Swing. These skills are used in all other dances. Basic Waltz is a classic dance that pops up in ballrooms, country bars, contra and many other social events. Learn to float around the dance floor with the greatest of ease. Basic Night Club is a fun dance which glides across the floor to slower contemporary music. It fills a gap where other dances don’t seem to fit. This season, intermediate and advanced classes in Ballroom, Latin and Tango will also be offered, among others.
Tuition ranges $63 to $73 per person. Each class will meet up to seven times. Classes will be held at Have Fun Dancing, located at 414 Bryant St. (off N Rouse) in Bozeman. The studio features a spacious floating and sprung hardwood dance floor in a unique and friendly atmosphere. Practices and dance parties are also offered throughout the season.
