Verge Theater is delighted to present an unforgettable run of theater with The Curators at the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture. Performances will be held February 20th through March 1st. Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7pm, with a Sunday matinee to follow at 3pm.
Verge presents a bold new sci-fi play about control, morality and the cost of failure written by Olivia Olson and directed by Kyrie Dawson. Gallery Art provided by artist Adam Olson.

In the mid-2400s, humanity gets one last chance – this time on Planet 6 Sirius. The Old World has collapsed under unequal nuclear power, global economic strikes, and the ensuing “war on capitalists.” Amid the smoldering ruins, the ruling coalition Fission Power Supply launches a final experiment: its strongest legion and a crop of human seeds are sent to colonize a distant planet.
The mission: rebuild humanity, with values engineered to ensure success. The problem: who decides what makes us human? As power and memory compete, The Curators explores what emerges from the hope for renewal – and what remnants of the past inevitably follow.
Tickets for The Curators are available for purchase now for $35. Visit www.vergetheater.com for reservations and further information about educational opportunities for aspiring thespians. •
