Blue Slipper Theatre – Livingston
Livingston, MT 59047 United States (406) 222-7720 http://www.blueslipper.com
The Blue Slipper Theatre is a non-profit community theatre run entirely by volunteers. All patron donations are used entirely for the maintenance and upkeep of our building at 113 East Callender Street, and for the three productions we put on each year, along with the Children’s Playwriting
Festival each spring.
For over 34 years, the Blue Slipper Theatre has been Livingston’s community
theatre – a place where everyone can get the chance to step out on stage, build sets, help with the lights and sound, design costumes, take reservations, or do whatever is necessary to turn the pages of a script into a live theatrical production!
The Blue Slipper has always been operated entirely by volunteers. All donations
are used in the production of plays, building maintenance, insurance, utilities and supplies.
Over the years a few people have come forward to help spearhead the effort –
people like Don Johns, Arnold and Joan Huppert, Bob Walker, Monica Payne, Jerry
Smith, Klairaine Haskins, Angie Cramer, Patty Bauer Miller, Mike Art, Roger Case, Duane Whithorn, John Sullivan, John and Marge Rogers, Jo Yardley, Dennis Dike, JoAnn Yardley, Amy Simpson, Belinda Van Nurden, Tim Williams & Tom Shands – but hundreds of others have volunteered their time both on stage and behind the scenes.
If you would like to get involved with the Blue Slipper, give us a call or stop
by when you see the lights on or hear the hammers pounding. We always need a
helping hand!
The Blue Slipper puts on three productions each season. Because the theatre is run entirely by volunteers, the dates may vary a little from year to year, but the season usually begins in February. Our spring production is scheduled for April and the season ends in the fall. The Slipper presents dramas, comedies
and musical variety shows.
