‘Come From Away’ – Baroque Music Montana
Baroque Music Montana presents "Come From Away," a recital celebrating Montana immigrants from pre-statehood to today through musical compositions. The program features works reflecting diverse traditions: Tan Dun's Sorrow in the Desert (Chinese), Halvorsen's Norwegisch, Op. 22 in the style of a hardanger fiddle (Scandinavian), D'Rivera's jazzy La Fleur de Cayenne (Latin), and Bloch's communal prayer Nigun (Jewish).
