Central to the storied nightlife scene, Downtown Bozeman’s Eagles Bar features the very best talent the Valley has to offer with regular Wednesday acoustics and weekend jamming. Here’s a look at what’s happening in the coming weeks.
Mario Miner Jr. of two-piece rock n’ roll project Gallatin Ghost Train performs on August 2nd. Expect an evening of blues-skewing tunes and some original songs.
Tsunami Funk bring back-to-back shows to the Eagles on Aug. 4th and 5th. The Bozeman-favorite group always packs the dance floor with Funk/R&B-rocking grooves. They play tunes from artists like Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers, James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, Sly & the Family Stone, Kool & the Gang, Van Morrison, Steely Dan, Bob Marley and many more!
Another night of acoustics follows on Aug. 9th featuring the talents of Keelan Evins. A longtime performer in and around the Bozeman area, this songsmith delivers for his audiences and is a magician on the guitar.
Head down to the Eagles for an Aug. 11th show by Parahellion. The Friday night show is a perfect opportunity to blow off some steam and spend a few of those hard-earned dollars!
Take in the acoustic stylings of local favorite Mathias on Aug. 16th. With powerful vocals and a percussive guitar style, he’s known for his dynamic live performances full of acoustic folk, rock, and funk tunes.
Next up are The Love Darts on Aug. 18th. The hard rock punk band got its start playing venues like the Haufbrau, having since grown into a fine-tuned project featuring some of Bozeman’s most energetic guitarists.
Returning to the Eagles for another special show, Scott H. Biram performs on Wednesday, Aug. 23rd. Fever Dreams, the 12th album from the Texas-based “Dirty Old One Man Band,” is a fervent yet intimate collection of blues, classic country, and rock-n-roll sealed with punk and heavy metal. The album delivers another gritty glimpse into the salty world of road-worn hearts and mismanaged emotions. Laying down his bare soul at the people’s feet, the record dips and sways with tales of hard, homesick traveling, lost love, overindulgence, spiritual rejoice, and tributes to some of his favorite music pioneers. The ticketed show begins at 7pm.
Chelsey Trevino will close out the month with a performance on Aug. 30th. She is inspired by many different musical styles and artists, though her favorite artist is Leon Russell. With music difficult to place under a certain genre, Trevino very much enjoys blues and jazz, and tries to implement it whenever possible.
