Tsunami Funk Bio 2016:
Tsunami Funk always packs the dance floor with Funk/R&B rocking grooves. Playing tunes from artist like Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers, James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, Sly & the Family Stone, Kool & the , Van Morrison, Steely Dan, and Bob Marley.
Tsunami Funk was started by Eddie T (Bass) and his love of the Funk genre. Eddie has played with Cyril Neville, members of Prince’s band, Drifters, Platters, and Andrew Gromiller & the Organically Grown.
Rounding out the band is: Luke Flansburg (Lead Vocals and Guitar) front man for Pinky & the Floyd, MOTH, and Petty Band. David Charles (Keyboards) MSU Music Professor, Vibe quartet, and Blue Matter. Nate Anderson (Guitar and Vocals) Minneapolis Funkster formerly with Hot Lunch, and Blue Matter. Isaiah Morales (Drums) started his career at a early age with Big Caboose All Stars and also plays with metal band Deadswarms.
Tsunami Funk was the featured band at the Big Sky Resort New Years Eve Celebration big concert stage in a sold out show in 2016 and 2015.
