This winter, Thrive will present parental education series Thriving Parents: Early Childhood Love & Logic. This five-week course will give parents the opportunity to learn practical skills to use in their homes for issues like bedtime, potty training, and parenting your tiny (but mighty!) toddler.
This five-week course is designed for parents or caregivers of children ages 0–5. It will be held on the following Monday evenings: January 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th and February 4th. Each will take place at the Thrive offices in Bozeman. Cost is $25 for the workbook and class meetings with scholarships available. Childcare will also be provided.
Following in February, join Thrive’s Bozeman High and Chief Joseph Middle School Parent Liaisons and other local guardians for Thriving Parents: Parenting the Love & Logic Way. This five-week course will offer participants the opportunity to learn practical skills to use in their homes for issues like improving communication, ending power struggles, promoting healthy technology use, and increasing personal responsibility.
This five-week course is designed for parents or caregivers of adolescents. It will be held on the following Thursday evenings: February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th and March 7th. Each will take place at Bozeman High School’s Berg Library. Cost is $25 for the workbook and class meetings with scholarships available.
The Love & Logic approach to parenting is built around the science of crafting caring and respectful relationships. An authentic, loving connection between parents and their children is the root of a healthy, thriving relationship built on trust and understanding.
