Hook, line & sinker: F3T returns to Bozeman with two-screening event
Cast a line among fellow fishy folk with the 2020 Fly Fishing Film Tour, kicking off its nationwide trek at Bozeman’s Emerson Center for Arts & Culture on Saturday, January 25th with showings at 5pm and 8pm.
This 14th annual tour will feature exclusive shorts from friends coast to coast, and beyond. The film selection will showcase the stories of everything from fishing guide fairytales, to serial steelhead semantics, canyon conservation in Colorado, mountain biking for marlin, jumping jaguars and jungle fish in whitewater rapids and the audacious Aussies who explore the largest coastline in the world. From saltwater to fresh, this year’s films are geared to get audiences stoked for another incredible season on the water.
The F3T is the largest fly fishing film event of its kind. Come for the action and stay for the giveaways and camaraderie – from your local fly shop to a community of like-minded anglers. The F3T aims to inspire, feed a shared addiction to fishing, and build awareness for conservation efforts both near and far.
Tickets for the Bozeman premiere showings are $18 and available through www.flyfilmtour.com, where you can also find more information and watch film trailers. Discount tickets are available for $16 at Montana Troutfitters, River’s Edge – Bozeman, and Fins & Feathers. •
