The Addams Family at the Shane from October 18th through November 10th
The Addams Family will have you in stitches from October 18th through November 10th Addams Family lurches into Dulcie Theatre for seasonally appropriate stagings.
Livingston’s Shane Lalani Center for the Arts launches its 2019-2020 Community Theatre Season with a creepy, kooky comedic feast! The Addams Family will have you in stitches from October 18th through November 10th in the Dulcie Theatre.
In the Addams’ upside-down world, to be sad is to be happy, to feel pain is to feel joy, and death and suffering are the stuff of dreams. But despite their quirks, they deal with the same challenges faced by any other family.
Dark, macabre Wednesday Addams is now eighteen years old and ready for a life of her own. She has fallen in love with a completely normal boy from a respectable Ohio family. To make matters worse, she has invited these squares to the Addams mansion to announce wedding plans – an idea jarring to both families. When the entire group winds up locked in overnight, secrets are revealed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to the one thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations: change.
The Addams Family runs weekends from October 18th through November 10th in the Dulcie Theatre at the Shane Lalani Center. Performances will take place Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, followed by Sunday matinees at 3 pm. Tickets to all shows are $18 for adults, $14 for seniors and college students, and $10 for youth 17 and under. To make reservations, visit www.theshanecenter.org or call the box office at (406) 222-1420. The Shane Center is located at 415 E Lewis St.
