Bozeman Symphony is thrilled to present a free family concert ahead of its next performance of the 2023-24 season, Prokofiev’s “Peter & the Wolf”. Performances will be held on Saturday, January 20th at 10:30am and 1pm. Both will be held at the Willson Auditorium in Downtown Bozeman.
Featuring narration by Glenn Close, Music Director Norman Huynh will guide the audience through Prokofiev’s beloved score. Before the concert, youth will have the opportunity to explore a menagerie of musical instruments! Bozeman Symphony’s instrument petting zoo offers young visitors an up-close encounter with real orchestral instruments. Guided by expert instrument zookeepers, visitors can touch various instruments, examine their parts, learn how to hold them, identify their instrument families, discover their unique sounds, and even try them out! But beware: Young adventurers may be inspired to realize their own wild life of music.
Performances of ‘Peter & the Wolf’ will be held on Jan. 20th at 10:30am and 1pm, at the Willson Auditorium in Downtown Bozeman. Admission is complimentary for this free family concert. Learn more at www.bozemansymphony.org or by phone at (406) 585-9774. All are welcome to attend as space allows.
Performances would not be possible without strong community support and sponsorship. The Bozeman Symphony wishes to thank Conductor’s Circle Sponsors Cal & Tricia DeSouza for supporting the 2023-24 season. •
