Summer concert, sing-along, meditation & movies at Pilgrim Church
As the Gallatin Valley emerges from COVID isolation, people are looking for ways to reconnect outside. As a result, wholesome outdoor activities with family, friends and neighbors are in demand. To fulfill this desire to reconnect, Pilgrim Church is offering numerous free summer gatherings on their lawn and property – designed to bring people together while stimulating creativity, connection and community.
On Monday, August 23rd, there will be family-oriented outdoor “Back to School” Concert featuring local professional musicians and local youth performances. The fun starts 6pm with a BYO picnic and a 6:30pm concert on the shaded NE lawn at Pilgrim Church. For the month of August, kids of all ages can enjoy the Holy Roller “Trike, Bike & Skate” Chalk racetrack open daily on Pilgrim’s south parking lot.

On Tuesday, Aug. 24th and September 21st, Perennial Wisdom – a contemplative gathering with meditation, music and poetry – will give people a chance to relax and rejuvenate their mind and spirit. These reflective gatherings for adults will be collaboratively led by the Rex Spears and featuring meaningful music chants led by Amber Ikeman.
On Friday, Sept. 10th, people of all ages are invited to enjoy a Friday night outdoor, family-friendly movie night with a BYO picnic on Pilgrim’s the SE lawn. Movie Lovers (Jill Joyce) is graciously providing a large professional screen and quality sound for the movies which will begin at sunset (visit UCCBozeman.Org for movie selections). And, last but not least, young families are invited to participate in an interactive sing along with instruments and treats – led by Music Kate on Sept. 20th.
