“Successful Families/ Successful Teens: Surviving and Thriving Through The Teenage Years”
will be held Monday, May 16th from 6:30-8:30pm at the Adolescent Resource Center of Alcohol and Drug Services of Gallatin County, located at 2310 North 7th in Bozeman. Thrive’s Parent Liaison joins the Adolescent Resource Center to offer an interactive evening focusing on parenting successful teens and offering an overview of Thrive’s five signature programs. Each of the signature programs is geared towards providing families with the resources, tools, and support to raise healthy, successful children.
Thrive’s Katie Travis received her BA from Boston College and has spent the majority of her career in the social service field. Experienced in working with families, adolescents, and parents in a variety of educational and mental health settings, Katie serves as the Thrive Parent Liaison at Bozeman High School. She’s excited to support parents as they navigate the challenging, yet wonderful teenage years. ADSGC sponsors a FREE workshop for parents, grandparents, and guardians on the third Monday of each month. New topics are covered each month. Participants are entered in to a drawing for door prizes.
