Spirited laughs w/ Eddie’s First Christmas, more Verge Improv

Verge Theater’s stage calendar is funny and festive this holiday season! Here’s a look at some of the fantastic performances happening at the Little Black Box.
Catch Ryan Cassavaugh’s latest and greatest Christmas play, Eddie’s First Christmas on Patrol, before it’s gone! Final performances will take place Friday and Saturday, December 14th–15th at 8pm each night. The long-awaited sequel to Jimmy’s First Christmas on Parole features the same actors as new characters in a fresh setting, a bar complete with Santa – in cuffs! You can rest assured you’ll be seeing the most original Christmas play out there. As Ryan says, “Jimmy’s was just the beginning…” Eddie’s First Christmas on Patrol is recommended for ages 17+ due to adult themes and language. Tickets are $14 in advance, or $16 at the door.
Also at the Little Black Box, the always-hilarious Monday night Improv on the Verge shows. With a mixture of short-form games (like you see on the popular tv show Whose Line is It Anyway?) and long-form stories, everything you see on stage is created on the spot using audience suggestions. With crowd favorites, the Bozeman Improverts AND some new faces, you won’t want to miss the best way to start your week. Come get cheap thrills for your laugh hole with advanced tickets for only $7, or $9 at the door. Upcoming shows are set for December 17th and January 7th. All performances start at 7pm. Ages 17+.
Everyone’s favorite community theater presents Verge After Dark, its new experimental show, to help close out another fantastic year of stage entertainment on Friday, December 28th. Head down to the Verge “garage” (Unit G) and take in a fun, exciting show at 9pm. The lineup will feature improv, storytelling, and more! Because space is limited, this event is first come, first served. Donations are gratefully accepted. Snacks and refreshments will be available. Ages 17+.
Mark your freshly purchased (or gifted) calendars! The Bozeman Improverts are back at the top of the year with Random Acts of Improv to tackle three nights of long-form improvised comedy. The shows are set for January 17th–19th at 8pm each evening. Tickets are $7 in advance, or $9 at the door. These shows are recommended for ages 17+.
