Some like it hot: Chico heats up with groove-worthy bands
It’s getting colder outside but Chico Hot Springs always keeps the temperatures up with its natural soaking waters and weekend live music in the Saloon. Locals flock to the resort during the winter months to get out of dodge. Take a look at the upcoming live music schedule and plan your escape.
Rock, rhythm & blues artists Gary Small & The Coyote Brothers deliver a one-night only show on Saturday, November 6th. If you love blues, rockabilly, surf, and plain ole good times music, then you’re in the right place – they’re known as “Purveyors of Good Boogie Music.” The Coyote Bros are a diverse band defined by its rockabilly, blues, cajun, surf, reggae, and anything else they deem cool.
GrooveWax follow on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 12th and 13th. The Gallatin Valley band is comprised of former Jamelution members Cindy Damjanovich, Junior Damjanovich, and Nik Damjanovich, plus SaddleTramp’s Gary Peterson. They play rock, country and blues.
Paradise Valley favorites The Fossils are back with a pair of performances on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 19th and 20th. Known around town for their authentic hippie music, The band guarantees a rockin’ good time. The members have been acquainted for years and are connected by their love of music.
On Friday and Saturday, Nov. 26th and 27th, check out Doublewide Dreams. The dynamic four-piece from Livingston provides an original, driving, melodic yet irreverent sound. Expect some good ole, homegrown Western Americana and rock. The band is fronted by the father-son duo of Kevin and Cleo Toll. Head over to enjoy their fresh sound and support local music in the process!
