Ahead of its anticipated summer festival, SLAM is commemorating its 13th year in our community with the “Look Back, Fund Forward” special benefit event on Saturday, May 6th. The evening of music, art and eats will be held at Downtown Bozeman’s Rialto, beginning at 5pm. Help SLAM organizers celebrate their contributions over the last decade-plus and propel them into the next 10 years!
Enjoy live music by Blues Train, Tessy Lou Williams, Peter King, Russ Chapman and The Waiting, all performing throughout the evening. An art gallery silent auction and live art demonstrations will be held in the Lightbox on the top floor of the Rialto. Add to collaborative art projects throughout the venue, and test your luck by purchasing a 50/50 raffle ticket! Food will be available from the Mighty Spork Food truck, as well as beverages at the cash bars inside the Rialto. General admission tickets are $50 and increase to $55 the day of the event, as availability allows.
As it does every summer, the 2023 festival will features artists and performers, culinary artisans, and family activities, as well as breweries and distilleries from around the state. One of the unique aspects of the SLAM festival is its spirit of inclusion and community. Free to attend, the Summer festival is open to everyone to come and enjoy and connect with the creative people of our great state. “Look Back, Fund Forward” will help ensure the continuation and quality of the summer event locals know and love.
