Southwest Montana skiers and snowboarders are loading up for a ride to Bridger Bowl, crossing their fingers for some spring snow overnight. Test your skill with some slopeside contests to keep the remainder of the season exciting!
First up, Bridger’s next Community Dual GS Series event is set for Sunday, March 1st, held in tribute to John Harkin. Open to citizen racers of all ages and boards – alpine skis, tele skis or snowboards. Compete against your friends! Take one run on the blue course and one run on the red course. Best of two timed runs.
Ride & Seek brings on-snow scavengers out on Saturday, March 7th. Hunt for checkpoints around the mountain, fill up your card and present to the events crew for a chance to win door prizes. Participation benefits the Bridger Bowl Foundation, for which the event has raised $44,901 since 2020!
The Apron Challenge follows on Sunday, March 8th. This is a timed hike up the Apron and a wild descent down an off-piste GS course. Open to all skiers and boarders of all ages.
The final event in the Community Dual GS Series will take place Saturday, March 14th. As with the event earlier in the month, participants will be entered in the Grand Prize Drawing to be held late this month.

A full weekend of competitive action is set for March 21st and 22nd with the Slushy Slalom. Best of two timed runs on the banked slalom down the natural gully below Slushman’s Ravine. Snowboarders on Saturday and skiers on Sunday.
The Molly Hayes Spring Equinox GS is set for Saturday, March 28th. Open to skiers and snowboarders. One run on the blue course and one on the red. Best of two. Finish out the season a champion! The annual Grand Prize Drawing for those who participated in this season’s Community Event Series will follow in Jim Bridger Lodge with live music and beer promotion by Bozeman Brewing Co.
Annual benefit Carve Out Hunger will take place Sunday, March 29th. Donate 15 cans of food and receive a voucher for a $25 lift ticket valid through the end of the season. You’ll also be entered to win an Adult Season Pass for the 2026-27 season! The event has collected a total of 45,321 pounds of food since 2013. All donations benefit the Gallatin Valley Food Bank.
And looking to a new month, the 3rd annual Denim Day is set for Saturday, April 4th. Rock your favorite denim – top, bottom or both – and earn a discounted lift ticket. Then take part in a BBQ & Best Denim Contest on the Deer Park Chalet deck at 2pm. Beer promo by Big Sky Brewing and live music courtesy of Tsunami Funk.
Bridger Bowl operates a FREE ski bus service to and from the mountain, with multiple pick-up times daily. Operating midweek and weekends, the bus picks up at MSU’s Strand Union Building and the Gallatin County Fairgrounds’ Park n Ride lot on Tamarack St. throughout the entire ski season. Additionally, Eagle Mount Shuttle operates its own transportation service for disabled skiers and riders Friday–Sunday. Find a request form through Bridger’s website along with shuttle schedules.
