Shorter days call for longer nights at Eagles downtown
Bozeman’s downtown blocks are bustling with late night activity once again! The trusty Eagles Bar is a favorite of the nocturnal for its energetic scene and regular live music. Here’s a look at what’s coming up in November.
Frontman of his rock n’ roll five-piece of the same name, Jackson Holte opens the month with a solo set on Wednesday, Nov. 3rd. Expect an evening of modern roots music featuring earthy narrative songwriting and soaring blues guitar.
Trade in your snow boots for dancin’ shoes during a live DJ set on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 5th and 6th. The dance floor offers plenty of room to showcase the best moves, whether you’ve got a partner in crime or are going solo. Music starts at 9:30pm.
Singer/songwriter Hannah Jo Lally shows off her stuff on Wednesday, Nov. 10th. Visiting from Reed Point, enjoy an evening of country cuts and distinctive originals.
Coming mid-month are regional rockers Daniel Kosel & Madrona Road on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 12th and 13th. They’ll bring visceral blues, sweet country and sultry rock with hot, tight grooves audiences can boogie down and shake it on the dance floor to.
Also on Nov. 13th, head up to the ballroom for the next in the Ibiza Sound Club monthly dance series. Let loose like no one’s watching to electronic house, progressive, techno and trance music. Music runs from 8pm to midnight. Admission is $10. 21+.
Jessica Hegg brings the acoustics on Wednesday, Nov. 17th. She plays older rock and country in the style of Stevie Nicks along with heartfelt originals.
Country rockers BlueBelly Junction are back Friday and Saturday, Nov. 19th and 20th. The “rockabilly” group brings an arsenal of originals and personalized covers. The high-energy band tends to veer away from slow jams, other than the occasional tune.
Close 2 Toast take the stage Friday and Saturday, Nov. 26th and 27th. Formed from all the right elements found within the Gallatin Valley comes a band like no other, with songs to warm your heart, make you cry and dance.
Thirsty Thursday belongs to Living the Dream Karaoke, setting up at FOE weekly. Sing your heart out and cheer on your friends! Sign-ups start at 9pm.
Make it a date with the Bridger Mountain Big Band on Sunday evenings. The ensemble performs regularly at 7pm. The 17-piece jazz orchestra celebrates the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and more, with original arrangements and music of all genres from the 1900s to today. Acoustic Wednesdays start at 8pm and weekend bands are on at 9pm, unless otherwise noted. Head downtown for some great live music or stop in for drinks any day of the week. •
