The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts is proud to announce that its second installment of the Cat-Griz Schools of Music will be held on Sunday, September 14th at 3pm.
Join for unforgettable performances that bring together the exceptional music programs of Montana State University and the University of Montana. Return for a dynamic, instrumental concert, where faculty from both schools unite to present a rich and diverse program. Don’t miss this special event that celebrates the shared musical excellence of our state’s top universities!
The program will include performances by faculty quintets from both music programs.
The 406 Winds MSU Faculty Quintet will feature Katie Mess on flute, Beth Antonopulos on Oboe, Greg Young on Clarinet, Derek Bannasch on Bassoon, and Elizabeth Schmidt on horn.
The UM Faculty Quintet will feature Joanna Berg on flute, Jennifer Cavanaugh on oboe, Christopher Kirkpatrick on clarinet, Alicia Brischli on bassoon, and Madeleine Folkerts on horn.
These special quintets will combine forces on a number of movements, showcasing the power and talent of classical instrumentalists in Montana.
