Ellen features string & song-heavy shows this March
A cornerstone of Bozeman culture brings the variety this month. Downtown’s Ellen Theatre is your source for some of the area’s best big screen entertainment and stage performances. The space also houses some great musical acts, both local and those coming through town. Here’s a look at what’s happening on Main.
Blending classic and modern styles, Americana rising stars The Secret Sisters bring their unique sound to Bozeman on Friday, March 8th at 7:30pm. Laura and Lydia Rogers convey passion and pure artistry through their music with the duo’s most recent release, You Don’t Own Me Anymore, garnering a Grammy nomination for ‘Best Folk Album’ in 2017. Tickets are $25.
Jim Salestrom
Join Emmy-winning songwriter Jim Salestrom, alongside special guest Eric Funk, for an evening of incredible melodies on Wednesday, March 13th at 7pm. Salestrom has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the business such as Dolly Parton, Debby Boone, and John Denver. The Grammy-nominated artist has appeared on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, the Academy Awards, and performed at the White House. His music crosses generational boundaries and is enjoyed by fans of all ages. Tickets are $20.50.
Looking ahead, the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra is back in Bozeman on Wednesday, March 27th at 7pm. Get ready for a night of jump, jive and great music, sure to put you “In the Mood” for a good time! This 19-piece powerhouse group performs all the hits including “Little Brown Jug,” “Moonlight Serenade,” “Chattanooga Choo-Choo,” “I’ve Got a Gal in Kalamazoo,” and many more. Reserved seats are $21.25.
