Katie Hall kicks off the month on June 1st at 8pm. She performs country and folk music featuring acoustic guitar as well as some a capella numbers.
The weekend features the return of Justin Case Band, performing June 6th and 7th. The ‘70s to ‘90s rock band covers tunes ranging from the Allman Brothers and Three Dog Night, to Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam.
Performing next are Jackson Holte & the Highway Patrol on June 13th and 14th. The Missoula-based rock n’ roll band is fronted by Holte, whose blend of earthy narrative songwriting and soaring blues guitar playing is complemented by Marko “The Midnight Shadow” Capoferri on bass, Tyson Gerhardt on guitar, Eric Rudnick on pedal steel, and Aaron Chiazza on drums. With a firm grounding in America’s folk traditions, the band is able to bound across genres in an authentic and emotive re-imagining of what a working rock n’ roll band can be. Their latest release, Last Rain of Summer, is out now.
Check out Johnny Dango when he performs on June 15th at 8pm. The Austin, Texas-based Americana singer-songwriter straddles the line between country and rock. Growing up in Oklahoma, he got his start playing local barrooms and touring with his childhood friend Stoney LaRue before going on to co-found the infamous Austin folk-pop band Brothers & Sisters.
In from Helena, Three Eyed Jack visits the Saloon June 20th and 21st. The classic and country rock trio features the talents of Mike Killeen (guitar), John Parr (bass) and Tim Borsberry (drums). Book your rooms and head over to Chico for a good ole lively time!
Ryan LittleEagle performs on June 22nd at 8pm. The traveling Indigenous singer/songwriter weaves together the traditional and contemporary, the ancestral and modern, into the vast tapestry of American music. Inspired by storytellers like Johnny Cash, George Strait and Jason Isbell, he carved a niche in the realm of country and Americana music, blending the sounds of his Native heritage with tales of the human experience.
Check out Roadrunner on June 27th and 28th. Featuring guitarist Tyler James, Andrew Miscoe on keys, drummer Bob Johnson, and bassist Max Eaton, the foursome brings the music of the Jerry Garcia Band to life!
June 29th features a show by Eddie J at 8pm. Enjoy a one-man show featuring rock and blues cuts to ease you out of the weekend.
