The community is invited to kick off summer by putting on their boots and kicking up their heels, all in support of big adventures in adaptive recreation with Eagle Mount Bozeman. The local nonprofit’s annual Western Rendezvous will take place on Saturday, June 13th, from 4–9pm. Enjoy a family-style BBQ, kids carnival and live and silent auction. The evening concludes with dancing to the music of Western Skies.
“Summer starts when the tent goes up, the carnival is under way and Western Rendezvous has begun,” said Heather Thomas, Eagle Mount Director of Development. “It is a Bozeman tradition and a wonderful opportunity to join together on Eagle Mount’s campus for an evening of family fun, support for our mission of adaptive recreation and community.”
Eagle Mount is a homegrown, community driven non-profit focused on providing recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities, young people impacted by cancer and their families.

Western Rendezvous began in 1995 as a barn dance and opportunity to give to the therapeutic horsemanship program. The event has outgrown the barn, is hosted under the valley’s largest tent and is an invitation to invest in the greater Gallatin Valley community by supporting Eagle Mount.
“Each day our team members facilitate joy and share worlds of adventure with program participants. Our programs are a pathway to independence, community, and the chance for people of all abilities to experience recreation in Montana. We are grateful for the support of the community”, said Terrence Gotz, Philanthropy Officer.
Presented by Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply and with the support of Mountain Hot Tub, Stockman Bank, Bridger Animal Nutrition, The Jump, Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Sarah Day Bozeman Real Estate, Rising Sun Auto Repair, Zoot, UnitedHeathcare, and Robert Peccia & Associates.
Eagle Mount Bozeman is committed to provide quality adaptive recreation and sport opportunities for people with disabilities and young people impacted by cancer, and to provide support for families of participants, so that “they shall mount up with wings as eagles.”
