Back from its summer break, Gallatin Roller Derby hosts its next home bout of the 2023 season. Don your shiniest apparel and glistening accessories at Solid Gold Roller Derby on Saturday, August 12th at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds’ Haynes Pavilion. Beginning at 6:30pm, a new generation of Gallatin Roller Derby skaters will face off against the Bitter Sweet Bombshells from Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Dress to show your heart of gold for this flashy summer bout! Costumed attendees aged 18+ get first crack at limited trackside seating (aka the Danger Zone). This family friendly event features a food truck, no-host bar by the American Legion, raffles, games and prizes.
Tickets for Solid Gold are $8 in advance at www.grderby.com or $10 at the door. Kids age 10 and under are admitted free. Doors open at 6pm.
A portion of event proceeds will benefit Hopa Mountain. The local nonprofit invests in rural and tribal citizen leaders who are working to improve education, ecological health and economic development in their home towns.
