Roller Derby is back with rock n’ roll-inspired bout
After a long pandemic-related off season, Gallatin Roller Derby is back in action and BACK. IN. BLACK. Join for a double header – the first home bout in over two years – with a journey to the dark side on Saturday, May 7th at Gallatin County Fairgrounds’ Haynes Pavilion. Beginning at 5:30pm, Gallatin Roller Derby and skaters from around the state will face off in a mixer, and at 7:30pm will take on Uinta Madness Roller Derby.
Wear your most rock n’ roll outfit and get ready to bust out your sweetest dance moves and shred some air guitar! Costumed attendees aged 18+ get first crack at limited trackside seating (aka the Danger Zone). This family friendly event features food by Bubby’s, a no-host bar by the American Legion, raffles, games and prizes.
Tickets for “Back in Black” are $12 in advance at www.grderby.com or $15 at the door. Kids age 10 and under are admitted free. Doors open at 5pm.
A portion of event proceeds will benefit the Bozeman Schools Foundation. The local organization upholds the mission of inspiring learning, enriching teaching, and creating opportunities for Bozeman School District students through community support.
