Montana State University’s Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity will present a live concert by William Clark Green and Chancey Williams on Friday, September 9th, as part of its annual Testicle Festival. The 7:30pm show will take place at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse with tickets on sale now.
Green, a Texas-based roots-Americana singer/songwriter, released his latest album, Baker Hotel, last spring to critical acclaim. He’s made a name for himself as a gritty performer with a larger-than-life voice and powerhouse band. During the recent lull in live performances, Green took stock of his career, re-prioritized and challenged himself and his sound. The album is the creative universe born out of the process.
Hailed the next authentic cowboy of country music, Williams returns to Bozeman in support of his latest release, 3rd Street. Produced by country music hitmaker Trent Willmon, the album has resonated with country music fans of all ages. He co-wrote eight of the album’s tracks from the reminiscent throwback tune “College,” to upbeat anthems like “The World Needs More Cowboys” and “Tonight We’re Drinkin’” to raw, stripped-down ballads like “Let It Go.”
General admission tickets are $35 and available in advance at www.montana.edu/brickbreeden or at the Fieldhouse box office. Day of show tickets will be available for $40 as space allows. Doors at 6:30pm.
