A screening of the documentary Disturbing the Peace followed by Q&A is set for Tuesday, April 24th at 7pm. Tickets to this all ages event are $9.75. Doors at 6pm.
In 2006, Israeli and Palestinian former combatants, people who had taken an active role in the conflict, laid down their weapons and established Combatants for Peace. The egalitarian, bi-national, grassroots movement was founded on the belief that the cycle of violence can only be broken when Israelis and Palestinians join forces. Combatants for Peace is the only organization, worldwide, in which former fighters on both sides of an active conflict have laid down their weapons, choosing to work together for peace and justice. They were nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017.
Disturbing the Peace is an award-winning documentary made about the movement. After the film, two leading members of the organization, founder and Nobel Peace Prize nominee Suliman Khatib and IDF veteran Rami ben-Ari, will join the audience via skype for a Q&A and share the work that they are doing to end the occupation and bring peace to their homeland.

Bozeman-based roadhouse rock n’ roll band The Waiting celebrates the music of Tom Petty. Not exactly a “cover” or “tribute” band, they’re, in the spirit of The Heartbreakers, first and foremost a BAND: a motley mix of musicians and friends interpreting the songs of one of rock’s greatest legends.
The band’s motto is “We bring the Petty to your town,” and since 2013 they’ve been doing exactly that all across the Treasure State. Whether it’s one of Tom Petty’s smash hits with the Heartbreakers, a sampling from his solo albums, or even a collaboration with the Traveling Wilburys, The Waiting runs the gamut, performing each tune with undeniable, fiery live energy and a devotion to showing each person in the crowd a damn good time.
