Registration now open for late October mindfulness courses
Montana Mindfulness Project has announced its multi-week program, the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course, is now accepting registrants for the late October sessions.
The eight-week course is scientifically designed to teach participants how to integrate and apply mindfulness both in their everyday lives and to the range of challenges arising from medical and psychological conditions and life stresses. In this intensive training, participants will learn to access and cultivate their natural capacity to actively engage in caring for yourself and finding greater balance, ease and peace of mind.
Mindfulness is a path leading us to our natural capacity for greater awareness to cultivate our innate inner-knowledge and wisdom, sparking our vitality to live with more ease and happiness.
Is it time to cultivate your intention to live more fully and freely? The only pre-requisite is curiosity about yourself and your world with a willingness to dedicate this time to investigate both with compassion.
Classes will be led by co-teachers Margaret Kachadurian, LCSW, and Teema Loeffelholz, LCPC. One daytime and one evening course will be offered. The former begins Monday, October 28th, with the meeting hours of noon–2:30pm weekly. The nighttime series begins the following evening, Tuesday, October 29th, meeting from 6–8:30pm each week. All sessions will take place at Pilgrim Congregational Church, located at 2118 S 3rd across from Museum of the Rockies.
A mandatory free orientation on Tuesday, October 22nd precedes the initial class meetings. Attendees may choose from two orientation windows: 11:30am–2:30pm or 6–8:30pm. Register for the course in person following orientation, or online at www.mayitbeso.com. Online registration deadline is Oct. 26th. Course registration is $400. Scholarships may be available.
