Red Tractor Pizza, Bozeman’s artisan brick-oven pizzeria featuring fresh local ingredients, is expanding its dining capacity from approximately 25 to almost 100 people next month.
Located at the intersection of West Main Street and N. 10th Avenue, Red Tractor Pizza was founded in January 2014 as a sustainable, community-minded operation, serving New York-style pizza with ingredients sourced as locally as possible.
“My inspiration is in the farmers who supply me with my produce, so it varies daily,” said coowner and head chef Adam Paccione, who is originally from New York.
Paccione says the additional space will allow for a variety of new opportunities, such as more live music and a fun kids area so that parents can come hang out without having to worry about their kids.
Red Tractor currently hosts “Music Mondays” from 6:30-8:30 p.m. weekly, featuring free live music and all you can eat pizza for $10. Because the dining area is fairly small, the restaurant typically books one and two-man acts. However, Paccione says he hopes to start bringing in full bands multiple times a week once they get things rolling in the renovated space.
Overall, the expansion will lend itself to a more comfortable experience for just getting together with family and friends, new and old.
“I want to instill a comfortable, casual atmosphere – just a place for people to eat awesome food
and drink good beer while hanging out with their buddies,” Paccione said. “We’re all about
community, so we want to bring the community together.”
Red Tractor received the building permit for the new space on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and with plans
already well underway, Paccione said he is planning for a mid-December opening date.
“The permit was the last piece of the puzzle,” he said.
For Paccione, the Red Tractor is more than just a pizza joint – it’s a lifestyle.
“How I cook in here is how I cook at home,” he said. “We try to be as local as possible, so
probably not through many degrees of separation, you’re supporting someone you know by
coming here.”
