Bozeman’s next Astronomy on Tap returns to Mountains Walking
Brewery on Monday, June 11th for its first summer event with “Spotting the Aurora, Steve & Detecting Gravitational Waves” on topic from 6–8pm. Lynn Powers, an Aurorasaurus Ambassador, will present. Meg Millhouse will also be talking about gravitational waves and where they come from. Enjoy a beer while learning about astronomy and testing your astro-trivia knowledge.
This all ages event is open to the public. Mountains Walking Brewery is located at 422 Plum Ave., featuring a truly excellent view of the Bridger Range. Head down, order up a brew, and find a seat!
Each FREE Astronomy on Tap event features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to galaxies to the beginning of the Universe. Presenters are from local research and educational institutions.
