This summer, West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce and Black Mountain Productions will present five nights of free outdoor live music in Pioneer Park. Music in the Park is a treat for visitors, where they can experience the old fashioned pleasure of music flowing across the town during this summer concert series. Bring your blankets, chairs and the whole family to enjoy the live entertainment. Come soak up the sound and take in a beautiful Montana sunset! Here’s a look at the upcoming festivities.
An opening performance by The Soul Funk Collective as part of the Fourth of July Celebration kicks things off on Saturday, July 4th. Music begins at 7pm and will be followed by the annual firework show. The group specializes in playing “sweet, funky soul music,” drawing inspiration from artists like The Temptations, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Parliament Funkadelic. The band is known for its high-energy performances for their passionate audiences.
Following on Saturday, July 18th, is RED: A Taylor Swift Tribute at 7pm. Fueled by a deep passion for the pop megastar’s music an an unwavering commitment to authenticity, Texan singer/songwriter Lauren Corzine and her Lone Star ensemble have captivated audiences across the country with a live show that feels strikingly close to the real thing.

North Fork Crossing performs on Friday, August 7th. Music begins at 6:30pm. Their genre resides somewhere in a strange untapped musical realm between traditional bluegrass, psychedelic rock, Americana and folk. The quintet are drawn to bluegrass reaching a younger generation, priding themselves on their unique sound being the “evolution of string band music.” Their new album, Portland Rose, released this spring.
Austin English closes the summer series with a return performance on Sunday, August 15th. Building a fanbase with his dynamic vocals and songs authentic and infectious, the Texan country up-and-comer puts on an amazing performance. His music is reflective of his rural upbringing but is as eclectic and diverse as the landscape where he was raised.
