While the outdoor stage continues to thaw, popular local venue Pine Creek Lodge plays host to a number of shows for those looking to visit their favorite venue as the snow melts. Events are still indoors but the music is as enjoyable as ever.
North Fork Crossing bring back-to-back performances on March 7th and 8th. Their genre resides somewhere in a strange untapped musical realm between traditional bluegrass, psychedelic rock, Americana and folk. The quintet are drawn to bluegrass reaching a younger generation, priding themselves on their unique sound being the “evolution of string band music.”
Check out the Max Davies Trio on March 14th. These three are no strangers to the stages of Bozeman and Livingston and are ready to perform some quality control in Paradise. Enjoy an evening of music with members of Kitchen Dwellers, Matt Wallin & His Nervous Breakdown, and Pinky & the Floyd.
Performing March 15th is Missoula’s Blue Point. The group brings together elements of traditional bluegrass, old-time and Americana with harmony-driven tunes. Their repertoire includes everything from traditional bluegrass cannon, to originals that stem from those deep places within the human condition we all know and feel.
The Sleepless Elite return to the Lodge for a March 21st show. The duo-turned-foursome has inspiration rooted in musical theater, and the sound of artists like Paramore and Blondie, Blink-182 and the Strokes. Their unique sound can be heard on their latest full-length, Still Dreaming, and new short-form release, The B.C. EP.
Showing off her talents on March 22nd is Lena Schiffer. She’s a folk singer and songwriter known for her decade-long journey with bluegrass group, Laney Lou & the Bird Dogs. She is driven by a distinctive fusion of folk, indie and Americana influences.
