The countdown to Pine Creek Lodge’s summer concert series is ON with one long month to go before the Paradise Valley venue brings a plethora of touring acts to its outdoor stage. In the meantime, support the Lodge with a weekend trip over the pass for some fantastic Brunch Live Music. Held on select Saturdays and Sundays this spring, the tunes begin at 11am and run until 1pm.
Cole Decker is first up on May 6th. The Mississippi-born singer/songwriter pulls from his musical roots of old school country. He’s influenced by the likes of Waylon Jennings and newer artists including Chris Stapleton, Brent Cobb and Jason Isbell.
Following on May 7th are Benn & Abel. The new age Americana band from Bozeman plays a mixture of originals and covers, with a new album in the works.
Maggie Hickman takes the stage May 13th. She performs a blend of originals and notable covers, often showing off her stringwork on guitar.
Chandler Huntley delivers his own solo set on May 14th. He draws influence from Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Guy Clark, John Prine, Robert Earl Keen and other country greats, from the current and past.
Ryan Acker is back at it on May 20th. The guitar-playing, banjo-plucking songwriter from The Last Revel plays a healthy blend of acoustic versions of the full band’s songs, one or two fun covers, and some originals of his own.
Butte-based balladeer Tom Susanj visits on May 21st. Known for his singer/songwriter style popular in the 60s and 70s, Tom’s music brings a heartfelt nostalgia for simpler times.
Late this month, Blake Brightman performs on May 27th. The singer/songwriter’s stylings fall somewhere between country western and Mississippi blues, with her own modern spin. She fronts a five-piece of the same name.
