Pine Creek finishes off summer slate w/ Fred Eaglesmith, Grizzly Goat

Marcedes Carroll
Pine Creek Lodge has served up an extensive slate of live music all summer long, but all good things must come to an end. Here’s a look at who’s closing out (pretty much) everybody’s favorite season in Paradise Valley.
Close out summer with Fred Eaglesmith & Tif Ginn on Saturday, September 1st at 7pm. Advance tickets are $20, or $25 at the gate.
Award-winning, acclaimed singer/songwriter Fred Eaglesmith’s talent for storytelling through his songs continues to draw universal appeal and pushes the craft to a higher form. And on his latest studio album, Standard, Eaglesmith’s indelible characters and narratives jump to life and leave listeners satisfied even amongst imperfections and broke-down machines and relationships.
The enigmatic, countrified, rock n’ roll troubadour visits Southwest Montana with musical wife Tif Ginn. She’s a gutsy, amazing singer and a transcendent songwriter who has spent most of her life touring and playing music. Her impressive, sultry vocals and glorious harmonies with Fred, along with her multiple instrument additions to the show will have you in awe.
Marcedes Carroll will perform for the last in Pine Creek’s FREE summer Brunch Live Music Series on Sunday, September 2nd on the Beer Garden Stage from 11am–1pm. Carroll is a spunky and fun Gallatin Valley local who brings a variety of flavor to her live shows, performing tunes ranging from Turnpike Troubadours to Ella Fitzgerald to Led Zeppelin, along with plenty of originals you just have to hear. Order some food, maybe a cold beverage, then find a spot!
Provo-based Grizzly Goat are set for Saturday, September 8th with another FREE performance on the Beer Garden Stage at 7pm. The group performs undomesticated Americana music focused on good stewardship of the earth, geography, and caring for others. They’ve supported Greensky Bluegrass, River Whyless, Town Mountain, Jamestown Revival, and Brett Dennen, and have also played at festivals such as Treefort Music Festival, Mayesfest, and Seven Sense Fest. Grizzly Goat’s latest album, Burning the Prairie, released in March.
