Pine Creek brunch spotlights area musicians every weekend
Nights out aren’t your only option to enjoy the stylings of local musicians. Take in some tunes over a midday meal! Pine Creek’s Brunch Live Music Series is regularly held on Saturdays and Sundays this winter. The tunes begin at 11am and run until 1pm.
Local songwriter Peter King is first up on February 5th. The Dead Yellers’ frontman gears his original lyrics around the human condition, love, war and self-control. His originals tell the story of honest, blue collar life in a small town. King’s influences range from the lonesome classic country sound to that of a DIY punk rock group.

Cole Decker follows on Feb. 6th. The Mississippi-born singer/songwriter pulls from his musical roots of old school country. He’s influenced by the likes of Waylon Jennings and newer artists including Chris Stapleton, Brent Cobb and Jason Isbell.
Hannah Jo Lally takes the stage Feb. 12th. From Reed Point, enjoy a mix of country cuts and distinctive originals.
Check out Travis Yost on Feb. 13th. Combining his love for music with unique storytelling abilities, “The Mighty Travis” will sing his songs and tell his stories to anyone that will listen.
Ryan Acker is back at it on Feb. 19th. The guitar-playing, banjo-plucking songwriter from The Last Revel plays a healthy blend of acoustic versions of the full band’s songs, one or two fun covers, and some originals.
Cleo Toll serenades the crowd on Feb. 20th. He’s a member of dynamic four-piece DoubleWide Dreams, known for its original, driving, melodic yet irreverent sounds. Fans of good ole, homegrown Western Americana and rock can expect a stripped-down, one-man show of a similar variety.
Feb. 26th will showcase the many talents of Paul Lee Kupfer. He has a distinctive approach and his arrangements are inventive and fun. Restless touring and writing has allowed him to share the bill with some of his heroes and bring his music to many different kinds of people across the United States.
Kelly Nicholson closes out the month on Feb. 27th. The singer/songwriter’s performances include hints of folk and bluegrass as well as acoustic renditions of covers typically played with her full band.
Brunch shows are free of admission, but space is limited. Please visit www.pinecreeklodgemontana.com to learn more about these and other upcoming events. Pine Creek hosts Trivia on Wednesday nights, BINGO Thursdays and Open Mic on Friday. •
