Classes at F-11 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Feb. 24 through 26th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM
Photography 101: Basic & Intermediate Digital Photography, Drills & Skills
Explore the what, when and why of digital camera settings with Angela Yonke, and get comfortable with the geek-speak of digital photography. The Basics class meets Wednesday, February 24th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Enrollment for the Basics class is $49.99 or $39.99 for F-11 Photographic Supplies “Very Important Photographer” members.
On Thursday evening join instructor Jon Shaver and advance to an intermediate skill set. Become familiar with resolution, ISO, zoom, exposure, focus, composition, exposure modes, basic and advanced white balance, metadata and histograms. Learn how these techniques apply to real picture taking situations. Strengthen your confidence and competence in digital imaging.
Friday night, February 26th, practice photography drills and skills. If you’ve read the books, drudged through the manual, practiced and practiced again, you may find yourself still wondering how to build the foundation to make it over the top? There’s nothing like hands-on shooting to advance your skills. Have you tried dueling cameras? Join Jon for this fun and interactive evening. Take the boring out of the basics and recover your joy of photography.
By the way, when you sign up for “Basic” and “Intermediate/Drills & Skills” at the same time, you save $25, paying just $124.99 for both classes. On its own, the Intermediate/Drills & Skills is $99.99. F-11 Photo “VIP” members get an additional $10 off. Each class meets from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
