The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Montana State University will host a virtual Friday Forum on February 13th titled “Opportunities & Challenges as the New Mayor of Bozeman, Joey Morrison.” The event will be held from noon to 1:30pm online via Zoom and is free and open to the public.
The forum will feature a presentation from Joey Morrison, who was sworn in as Bozeman’s newest mayor on Jan. 7th. He previously served on the Bozeman City Commission as deputy mayor for two years alongside former Mayor Terry Cunningham.

In an interview with the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Morrison said he plans to focus on housing and affordability during his term. At the forum, he will outline his vision for the next two years, highlighting the challenges and opportunities facing Bozeman’s growing community.
Registration for the event must be completed at www.montana.edu/olli/friday or on Zoom before 11am Feb. 13th. Upon registration, participants will receive an email with a Zoom link and instructions for joining the forum.
OLLI at MSU’s Friday Forums are held on the second Friday of the month from September to May. OLLI at MSU is a program of Academic Technology and Outreach, which provides innovative outreach and engagement opportunities across the university. •
