Following its fall performances at the Ellen, settle in for the live return of Nervous Theatre with A Marvelous Party at Bozeman’s Echo Arts. Performances will take place Friday to Sunday, May 19th–21st at 7:30pm.
A group of strangers have gathered together on this night, in this space… There is a conversation that only we can have. Let’s find it. Nervous Theatre invites you to an immersive theatrical event exploring the ways we gather and collectively transform. Created by the company, A Marvelous Party was developed at Surel’s Place in Boise and premiered at Bozeman’s Verge Theater.
Nervous Theatre, a nomadic theatrical collective based in Bozeman, made their Ellen debut in 2020 with a critically acclaimed production of The Maids, followed by the original film-theatre hybrid Mommy’s Dead and They Buried Her in Moscow (winner of the Derek Award, Edinburgh Fringe ‘20). Other productions include the world premieres of Strange Mating Calls, an original adaptation of Samuel Beckett’s Texts for Nothing and most recently, Bertolt Brecht’s The Caucasian Chalk Circle.
Tickets for A Marvelous Party are $30 for all seats. Echo Arts is located at 802 N Wallace in Bozeman. No late seating will be permitted. Comfortable shoes encouraged.
