The sunny season brings the return of some of Southwest Montana’s favorite recreational activities and shared enjoyment of the outdoors in its many forms. Paramount for many are the slew of sun-soaked concerts by local and touring acts at venues far and wide.
Music Ranch Montana, affectionately known as the “Last Best Live Music Venue & Dance Hall,” is gearing up for another round of its popular ‘Country Dance Nights’ as the new season approaches. Offering covered and outdoor seating for every show, the venue features the largest dance floor in the region and is the perfect place to take in acts true to the genre.
First up is a performance by Clint Anderson & the Montana Gazette on Saturday, May 17th. Music begins at 7:30pm. The foursome is known for their brand of boot stompin’ old school country music. Their extensive repertoire of country favorites ensures a filled dance floor enjoyed by all ages that resonates with a pure Montana vibe. The band consists of Clint Anderson (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Derek Hofer (guitar/harmony vocals), Silas Rea (fiddle), Cabot Metz (steel guitar), Greg Valor (drums) and Shawna Lockhart (doghouse bass). Tickets for this show are $12. Dinner will be available for purchase beginning at 6:30pm. Doors at 6pm.
