The sunny season brings the return of some of Southwest Montana’s favorite recreational activities and shared enjoyment of the outdoors in its many forms. Paramount for many are the slew of sun-soaked concerts by local and touring acts at venues far and wide.
Music Ranch Montana, affectionately known as the “Last Best Live Music Venue & Dance Hall,” is gearing up for another round of its popular ‘Country Dance Nights’ as the new season approaches. Offering covered and outdoor seating for every show, the venue features the largest dance floor in the region and is the perfect place to take in acts true to the genre.
First up is a performance by www.TWANG on Saturday, May 23rd. Music begins at 7:30pm. The truck drivin’, heart breakin’, honky-tonk dance band has been offering up real country music to their fans for decades. These guys take no prisoners and leave nothing but happy dancers in their wake. Don’t miss their “real deal, premium country music” show! Tickets for this show are $15. Dinner will be available for purchase beginning at 6:30pm. Doors at 6pm.
Next month, Crazy Mountain Express returns for a show on Saturday, June 13th. Music starts at 7:30pm. The foursome is quickly earning a reputation for its energetic performances and sets that encourage audiences to move and groove their boots on the dance floor. Check out these lively country crooners and don’t forget to bring a dancing partner! Tickets for this show are $15. Dinner will be available for purchase beginning at 6:30pm. Doors at 6pm.
Looking ahead, the Ranch has announced additional summer shows by Crow Country on July 10th, a double header featuring Flat River Band and The Kody Norris Show on July 24th, Lorrie Morgan on July 25th, a tribute to Roger Miller with Dean Miller on July 26th, Ben Haggard on Aug. 8th, “My Life” Billy Joel Tribute on Aug. 21st, Cheyenne Dance Band on Aug. 22nd, Jimmy Fortune on Aug. 29th and Kyle Shobe & the Walk ‘Em Boys on Sept. 4th, with more to be announced.
