‘Music on Main’ wraps with two August events
The Downtown Bozeman Association’s 21st Annual Music on Main Summer Concert Series continues with its abbreviated 2021 series this month. The final events will feature Vella on August 5th and The RT’s on August 12th. The music begins at 7pm and runs until 8:30pm in the event space between Rouse and Black Ave.
Seventeen-year-old Gabriella Valdes, better known as Vella, is already making waves on the internet and is positioning herself to be a household name. Her dynamic voice goes from a roaring belt to a sweet and soothing falsetto in a matter of seconds, naturally displaying a vocal control sought by the best of singers.
Brooklyn-based five-piece The RT’s, formerly The Rad Trads, are known for their eclectic take on rock n’ roll, which mixes punk rock energy, horn drenched soul and precise musicianship with a lighthearted but sincere delivery. It’s a sound that has come sharply into focus on the band’s latest release, See You Again.
Bring the kids from 6:30–8pm for kids’ activities hosted by local nonprofits. Grab a bite to eat from one of many rotating food vendors, step into a few of the downtown stores that stay open late, and enjoy outstanding live music from popular local and nationally recognized bands. Also, enjoy the county’s Water Bottle Fill Station parked each week on the side of First Security Bank.
These events will adhere to recommendations from local health officials. Please be understanding and respectful to all attendees and staff if you plan to attend this summer’s concert series.
Music on Main is a FREE community event hosted by the Downtown Bozeman Association and funded by its many generous business sponsorships. Please visit www.downtownbozeman.org to learn more about the 2021 series. •
