Montana State University’s School of Music will hold the 10th annual Noël concerts on Friday, December 5th, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 220 W. Main St.
The MSU Symphony Orchestra and three student choirs – the Montanans, University Chorale and Voces Luminis – will perform holiday music, conducted by MSU faculty members Kirk Aamot, Lukas Graf and Tobin Stewart. The School of Music will hold two concerts on Dec. 5th, starting at 5:30pm and 7:30pm.

“These student ensembles love the opportunity to perform together,” said Aamot, School of Music professor who conducts the Montanans and Voces Luminis. “Many students come from rural communities in Montana where there might have only been a handful of students involved in making music, but now they get to do it together, and the audience can stand and sing along.”
Concert tickets cost $25 and are available through the Bobcat Ticket Office at (406) 994-CATS or montanastate.evenue.net. Montana PBS will also broadcast the performances online following the concerts, including at 8:30pm Monday, Dec. 15th; 8pm Tuesday, Dec. 23rd; and 7pm Wednesday, Dec. 24th.
