Following another season of outdoor performances at a sweeping array of venues around the Treasure State, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks is pleased to bring its 50th Anniversary Tour indoors this month.
Bozeman’s Black Box Theater will host the company in its intimate space on MSU’s campus with eight presentations of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised]. Performances will be held Thursday to Sunday, December 1st–4th and 8th–11th. Curtains up at 7:30pm, and 2:30pm on Sundays.
From plays to sonnets, this high-octane performance shares Shakespeare’s best. Audiences will delight in this fast-firing comedy that attempts to prove that three actors can do the impossible: act through Shakespeare’s entire canon – 37 plays – in 90 minutes!?
As a way to give back to the communities that have made these last 50 years possible, MSIP is thrilled to offer this shoulder season tour as way to say thank you for making the company such a valuable part of your communities, and for continuing to keep their mission alive and well. The Complete Works Tour is a toast to your generosity, support and commitment to providing access to the cultural arts for the last 50 years across Montana and beyond.
Advance tickets for the Black Box Series are available now at www.shakespeareintheparks.org. General admission is $25 with reserved seating available for $40. Visit the host website to purchase yours or to learn more about The Complete Works and MSIP’s efforts throughout the state. •
